Crossing the bridge over the Hillsborough River looking to the north from MLK Blvd.
People entering the rally at 11:00 a.m.
The stands are filling up fast with supporters.
The national anthem was sung by a local teacher with her students looking on.
Barack Obama enters the field to a cheering standing ovation.
I got home really late Sunday night and I had gotten an email telling me that Barack Obama would be in Tampa at Legends Field on Monday. I was so excited because it was my day off. I got uo and had a delicious breakfast, then headed out on my bike across town. It was a beautiful day. I took pictures all along the way so I could remember it. The air was crisp, cool and clean. I met so many nice people along the way, but especially at the rally and waiting to go in for early voting at the College Hill Library... I think that was the most fun, it was like a family reunion. I was so pleased to have heard what Barack Obama had to say with my own ears and decide for myself who I wanted to vote for.
